The last few pages of my diary (i have a new diary now) about Little Andaman, our friend Pradeep who lived through the december 2004 tsunami, and our expedition to the lighthouse.
Well, maybe it's not very interesting but i thought the little drawings and maps made it funny.
Part of a page has been digitally cropped-- Well, you don't want to know.

Nice account of a very adventurous trip, which reminded me of a combination of "To the Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf, and a "Famous Five" adventure where the smallest things that happened to the young heroes is transformed into suspicions of smugglers or crooks hiding behind rocks in a little cove... But for you, there seemed to have been no enigma to solve! Or, perhaps the one about the whereabouts of the little crocodile?
RépondreSupprimerBTW, crab is indeed kakara, which obviously is shortened into kakra. And machchar, yes, mosquitoes; my dictionary even says "stinging gnats"!!
